What can schools do better for their autistic students?

Research Study

Researchers at UMass Boston would like to interview autistic people (16 years old and up) about their experiences at school. Interviews will last about 1-1.5 hours. Participants will receive $100 through venmo or paypal. You can do an interview through Zoom (with or without video), on the phone, in writing (chat or email), or (for Boston-area participants) in person.

We will ask questions about the following topics: how you were treated at school, how others at school viewed autism, how you stuck up for yourself at school, and how much you could be yourself at school.

You can participate if you:
Are at least 16 years old
Are autistic or have a similar diagnosis
Attended (or attend) school K-12 in the USA
