TEAMS Program (Targeted Education for Autism Management across Medical Specialties)

Research Study

Harvard Medical School (HMS) is creating innovative training programs for clinicians, as well as patient and family resources to improve healthcare for all adults with ASD. The TEAMS Program (Targeted Education for Autism Management across Medical Specialties), is all about transitions, from pediatric care to adult care, across medical specialties, and across the lifespan. Feedback from people with ASD is so important as we develop our program because we want to include the perspectives of and meet the diverse needs of patients and families.

Participation on our panel could include any (or all) of the following activities:
• Attendance at one to three virtual group discussions between Fall 2021 and Summer 2022,
• Sharing your feedback on short videos, a website, and other materials intended to help families navigate the health care system, and
• Sharing stories about the challenges people with ASD face in medical settings

If you’re interested in being part of our project, or would like to learn more, please contact Sarah Campbell at sarah_campbell@hms.harvard.edu
