There are many different ways that you can give to the AANE community, to support programs and services that improve lives every day. Tailor your gift to suit your personal needs and wishes. You can give anonymously. You can give a gift in somebody's memory, to celebrate or commemorate a special occasion, or to honor somebody. We appreciate every single contribution, knowing that each helps to bring our shared vision of acceptance, support, and connection into this world.
Other Ways to Donate
The Fund to Support The Elsa Abele Training Center
AANE will honor the legacy of educator and thought leader Elsa Abele by dedicating its training space to her. Employee Matched Gifts
Daniel W. Rosenn Endowment Fund
Make a tax-free gift from your IRA to AANE
President Obama signed a bill late in 2015, permanently allowing you to make a tax-free gift to AANE directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA). This transfer qualifies for the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) each year. To make your gift under the new charitable IRA legislation, you need to:
- Be age 70 1/2 or older.
- Give any amount up to $100,000 from your IRA.
- Transfer funds directly from a traditional or rollover IRA.
Transfer the gift outright to AANE (Note that roll-overs to a gift annuity or charitable remainder trust are not eligible under this legislation.)
If you are making an ongoing charitable contribution through the United Way, please consider writing in AANE as the donor recipient. While direct contributions are the optimal choice, AANE is thankful for any contribution that can be made through agencies like this.
Combined Federal Campaign
If you are a federal employee, you may donate to the Combined Federal Campaign by designating Asperger-Autism Network Inc., CFC#12115.
Targeted scholarship donations are used to pay for registration fees for people who would otherwise be unable to attend our events.
Planned Giving to AANE
Many people want to make charitable gifts but want to do so in a way that meets their personal, family, and financial needs. Planned gifts to AANE can give you options that may allow you to make larger tax deductible charitable gifts, increase your current income, and leave a charitable legacy for future generations, among other things. For more information, visit our page on Planned Giving to AANE.
Donate Your Used Car
AANE is collaborating with Donation Line as a tertiary fundraising partner. Any used cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, etc. you donate can provide AANE with additional funding. Make sure to include AANE as a benefiting charity on the Car Donation Form (listed under "Disease Education/Research/Support").
AANE is a registered charity with AmazonSmile.
AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice.
