AANE offers two types of support groups for Teens with an Asperger /autism spectrum or similar neurodiverse profiles.
- “Open” groups are free and may have different participants joining from session to session
- “Closed” groups are fee-based* and have the same participants for a set number of sessions
*For programs and events that require a fee, financial assistance is available and no one will be turned away for their inability to pay. Discounted registration buttons can be found on some registration pages. To inquire about financial aid for a program or event, contact events@aane.org.
Early Notification List
If an interest group you want to join is not accepting new members, sign up for the early notification list. Before a new round of your favorite interest group begins, we will send you an early email notification. This will give you a chance to register before we open up registration to everyone.
Online "Open" Support Groups for Teens
AANE offers a FREE "Open" support group for teens aged 13-19 who identify as being on the Autism Spectrum or related diagnosis. The group aims to provide information, connection, and community where participants can share similar issues and concerns and celebrate successes. This group is designed for teens on the spectrum only. Parents and other family members should not plan on attending.
