Remembering Movies and TV Shows: Autistic Young Adults and Sense of Identity

Research Study

We are seeking autistic, young adult participants ages 18-24 who have an autism diagnosis (clinical or self-diagnosis) and currently reside in the United States for an online research study! Participants will be asked to complete multiple-choice and open-ended questions (which can be responded to in a written, audio or video format) about their identity, autism diagnosis (clinical or self-diagnosis), and their experiences with movies and TV shows throughout their childhood. With this study, we hope to understand the experiences and relationships of autistic young adults with media, such as movies and T.V. shows, and explore the roles that these kinds of media have played in their lives and sense of identity. The study should take between 18 and 25 minutes. Each participant who completes the study will receive a $25 Visa gift card through email as compensation.
