Protective Factors of Gender Diverse Autistic Youth

Research Study

Researchers at The University of Massachusetts Amherst are working on a research study to learn about gender diverse autistic youth (ages 13 through 17), and the potential protective factors associated with their psychological well-being and life satisfaction. The factors of interest include school, community, family, peer, personal wellness and other support systems that may play a significant role in these youth’s lives.

With the collaboration of a research team, we have created a survey that has been approved by the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s institutional review board. Participants will have the chance to win a $15 Amazon gift card for participating. The more participants that take this survey, the more information we will have to inform future initiatives and interventions for this population.
