Project STORY

Research Study

The goal of Project STORY is to learn more about how the brains of preschool-aged children with autism function during live social interactions. We hope that findings from this study will help researchers better understand how brain function is related to language and communication difficulties in children with autism. The study will require one to two visits to Boston University. During these visits, your child will watch videos and listen to stories while wearing a fNIRS cap, complete play-based assessments with a researcher, and read a book with you. You will be compensated $25 per visit. If interested, please fill out our screening form here: https://www.bu.edu/autism/project-story/. You can also contact us directly via email at fnirsbu@bu.edu.
