Project CRUSH

Research Study

Project CRUSH is an NIMH-funded research project focused on collecting preliminary information needed in order to develop a new sexual education program designed for the specific needs of verbal adults on the autism spectrum. We have heard from many stakeholders that this is an area of high importance to adults on the spectrum, which motivated us to pursue this new line of work. In order to accomplish this goal, we are seeking 60 verbal adults aged 18-26, to come into the lab in Boston and answer questions about their experiences, preferences, and needs. Participation would entail one 15-minute screening phone call, two in-person visits (each lasting about 2.5-3 hours), and the responses to a short survey from a close relation. Participants would receive $40 for each visit to the lab and the study would provide parking. Study staff may be reached at 617-919-4108 or ProjectCRUSH@childrens.harvard.edu.
