Parent Experiences with Receiving an Autism Diagnosis

Research Study

If you have a child (any age) that has been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the past 3 years, and you were present when the diagnosis was given, you are invited to participate in an online research survey!

The purpose of this study is to better understand how parents receive a diagnosis of ASD and how their clinicians delivered the diagnosis. The ultimate goal is to formulate guidelines for practitioners on ways they can effectively, sensitively, and helpfully deliver the diagnosis. The survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete and you may choose to enter a drawing for a $75 gift card upon completion of the survey. You will not be asked to include any identifying information, and this survey will in no way affect your standing with any programs or providers you are involved with.
