Leveraging Technology to Assess Caregiver Quality of Life

Research Study

Are you a primary caregiver of a child diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder? Are you between the ages of 20 and 60? Is your child between the ages of 3 and 10? Do you own a cellularly enabled device (e.g., Apple or Android)?

You are being invited to participate in a research study titled Leveraging Technology to Assess Caregiver Stress and Quality of Life conducted by doctoral candidate, Kristina Rossetti, M.S,. under the supervision of Kimberly Zlomke, Ph.D., through the University of South Alabama.

Help us understand caregiver experiences in raising a child with ASD! We are focusing our study on the evaluation of caregiver experiences, such as stress and sleep, as exacerbating or enhancing caregiver quality of life outcomes through technology! Participating in this study will include: 1)an initial interview with researchers to complete surveys and learn how to use a new mobile app 2) use the mobile app for 14-days to complete daily surveys, and 3) an exit interview with researchers to complete surveys and discuss the mobile app. Caregivers will receive compensation for completion of the study.
