We are looking for girls and boys ages 8-11 living in the greater Boston area to tell us about their friendships! The FRIENDS study is a doctoral dissertation study that aims to learn more about what children want and expect from their friendships. We are interested to include children with autism spectrum disorder as well as children without autism, as we aim to understand all children’s experiences with friendships, as well as the ways these experiences may be similar or different for children with and without autism. Participation will take 1 hour and can take place at your home, our University of Massachusetts Boston office, or a location you choose (for example, a public library within the greater Boston area). Children earn a small gift for participating.
