Grandparents will learn how to better communicate with their grandchild, how to support the child’s parents, and how help their grandchild advocate for themselves effectively.
SPEAKER: Michele Cantara, AANE Neurodiversity Training Specialist has a 32-year-old autistic son who is avidly interested in aeronautical engineering. Michele spent more than 35 years in high technology and management consulting, focusing on intelligent business operations and change management. Now in the training department at AANE, she combines her knowledge of transformation and change management and her lived experience with autism to help individuals and organizations understand how to remove the barriers that get in the way of an autistic individual’s success.
