Weekly on Tuesdays – Support Group Series for Young Men (18-30)
This adult support group series is designed for young men ages 18-30 who are on the autism spectrum. Through this support group series, young men can build an ongoing connection with a small community of other young men. AANE adult support group series also give adults an opportunity to voice their concerns and frustrations. It also lets them acknowledge hard-won and unexpected victories.
Moderator: The group will be moderated by Nick Gallop. Nick Gallop, Adult Services Coordinator, specializes in topics such as adulthood on the autism spectrum, feelings of isolation and depression, independent living, work and college-related issues, among other feelings associated with AS. Nick works hands-on with adults with AS and provides them with information and referrals. He facilitates support groups, interest series, and events for adults. All meetings will be held at the AANE Office in Watertown, MA. We will meet weekly for 8 weeks on Tuesdays from 1:30-3:00 p.m (with the following exceptions*).

- Daily Living Skills
Cost: Group members need to register in advance and membership is limited to 12 individuals. Members must be Young men ages 18-30 with Asperger’s or a related profile. The cost, which covers all 8 meetings in the support group series, is $80 per person. This payment covers all eight meetings and you must register for the entire series.
Financial Assistance: We do recognize that registration fees may be a hardship for some adults. If this is the case, contact (Stephanie.Birkdale@aane.org) for a fee discount or waiver. We want to make sure that you get the support you need.
