Online Support Group Series for Parents of High School Girls

Registration is now open for the AANE’s Online Parents of High School Girls support group series. This group is designed for parents and other adult family members of high school girls who have been diagnosed with Aspergers/Autism or other similar profiles.
This small group setting limited to 18 participants allows parents to connect with each other and delivers a wealth of information.
This group will be run by Nancy Parker, MSW, LICSW. Director of Child and Teen Services, first contacted AANE as a parent, when her daughter was first diagnosed in 2006. Nancy has 25 years of experience working in mental health. Prior to joining the AANE staff in 2017, she worked as a counselor in hospitals, colleges, and prisons, created mental health training programs for educators, and provided information, referrals, and support to parents of children with mental health issues.
Meeting Dates: 6/8/2020, 6/22/2020, 7/13/2020, 7/27/2020, 8/10/2020, 8/24/2020.
Cost: $120 for the first family member and $30 for the second family member.
Financial assistance options are available for 50% or 75% off of the registration cost.
