DESCRIPTION:  Join us on Teleparty to watch a movie together on Netflix. In order to participate in this event, you will need:

• a Netflix account **
• to use Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser
• to download and install the Teleparty extension.

You can only watch movies with Teleparty on a PC or a Mac. We will use the built-in chat and screen sharing features within Teleparty to interact. ** If you don’t have a Netflix account, you can sign up for a free 30-day Netflix trial account.  Just remember to turn it off within 30 days if you want to avoid charges.

At 5 PM ET on July 14 Nick Gallop will send the Teleparty URL to the email you entered on your registration form. To join the AANE Netflix Watch Party click on the party URL in Nick’s email. That will redirect you to Netflix’s website. Then click on the “TP” button next to the address bar, and you should automatically join the party.

REGISTRATION: Advanced registration is required.  After you have registered, a confirmation email is sent with a link to attend the program. Registrants who do not receive the confirmation email should check their email spam folder. Registration closes 24 hours prior to the event or first session. Early registration is highly recommended as many programs fill quickly.

AUDIENCE: AANE Adult Support Groups, Social Groups, and events are intended for post-high school adults on the spectrum who are able to self-regulate AND independently participate in activities without the assistance of a dedicated caretaker.

EVENT & GROUP INFORMATION: Most of AANE programming is currently online. The following terms are used for different audience specifications:

• “Open” events/groups may have different participants joining from session to session and “Closed” events/groups have the same participants for a set number of sessions.
