Online “Open” LifeNet Mini-Series Monday: “High Score” Episodes 5 & 6 for Adults 10/26/2020, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM EDT

DESCRIPTION:  AANE’s “LifeNet” Independent Living Support Program offers a variety of social activities to its clients. For a limited time, we are making some of the online LifeNet Social Activities available to a limited number of non-LifeNet clients. Now other adults on the spectrum (regardless of where they live) can experience the companionship and camaraderie that LifeNet offers to its clients through Movie/Mini-Series Mondays – a NetFlix Watch Party from 3-5 PM US EDT

High Score” Episodes 5 & 6.  High Score is a Netflix docuseries created by France Costrel. It features stories and interviews with the developers and creators of early video games.

WHEN: Monday, October 26, 2020

TIME: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM ET

WHERE: Online via Netflix Party

In order to participate in this event, you will need:

You can only watch movies with NetFlix Party on a PC or a Mac. We will use the built-in chat and screen sharing features within Netflix Party to interact.

** If you don’t have a Netflix account, you can sign up for a free 30-day Netflix trial account.  Just remember to turn it off within 30 days if you want to avoid charges.

COST: This event is free, but you must register in advance.

GROUP CAPACITY: Registration closes when we reach the registration limit of five people or at 9:00 AM ET on October 25.

Once you register you will receive an email from AANE confirming your registration. (If you don’t receive that email within a few hours, check your spam folder.)

At 2 PM EDT on October 26, your AANE LifeNet Host will send the Netflix Party URL to the email you entered on your registration form. To join the AANE Netflix watch party click on the watch party URL in that email. That will redirect you to Netflix’s website. Then click on the “NP” button next to the address bar, and you should automatically join the party.


All AANE programming is currently online. The following terms are used for different audience specifications:

  • “LOCAL [City, State]” in front of the event/group name is intended for those living in the vicinity of the indicated area. If LOCAL is not indicated, the event is available to those living anywhere.
  • “Open” events/groups may have different participants coming and going from session to session.
  • Closed” events/groups have the same participants for a set number of sessions.


CODES OF CONDUCT: Participants at AANE events are expected to act respectfully toward other participants and group facilitators. AANE reserves the right to deny admission, ask an individual participant to leave, or remove participants from the event/program for inappropriate or disrespectful behavior.
