Event Navigation
DESCRIPTION: Do you love to craft and wish you had more people to chat to while you craft? Then this is the group for you. Whether you love collage, knitting, woodwork, calligraphy, soap making, all forms of arts and crafts are welcome. The group is open to everyone (autistic adults, parents, and other adult family members) regardless of skill level or diagnosis. Have you not picked up a paintbrush since elementary school? You are welcome. Sew all your own clothes? You are also welcome. This group is a safe space to make mistakes in our art and free ourselves from perfectionism and maybe try something new. The point is to make something 🙂
The group will meet every fourth Monday of the month on Zoom from 12:30-2pm ET. Each meeting will begin with instruction in an optional small craft project for the first half hour. We will include a materials list for each project and you are welcome to join or watch as you feel comfortable. After that, the group will have an hour to socialize as they work on any kind of craft project they like.
