FILLED – Online “Open” Community Connections Session for Recently Diagnosed Adults, 11/9/20, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET

DESCRIPTION: If you are an adult who has been newly diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder or if you don’t have a formal diagnosis, but think you might be on the spectrum, join Michele Cantara and Nancy Schwartz from AANE’s Adult Services team and 10-20 other adults who are facing similar situations. Share your reasons for pursuing (or not pursuing) a diagnosis. Talk about how your diagnosis or the prospect of being on the spectrum makes you feel, identify possible next steps on your personal Asperger journey, and learn about longer-term support group options at AANE.

REGISTRATION: Advanced registration is required. After you have registered, a confirmation email is sent with a link to attend the program. Registrants who do not receive the confirmation email should check their email spam folder. Registration closes 24 hours prior to the event. Early registration is highly recommended as many programs fill quickly.
