Online LOCAL Boston, MA “Open” AANE Book Club for Adults, 10/27/20, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM ET

DESCRIPTION: AANE, in partnership with the Boston Public Library, has created a book discussion group for adults with an Asperger/autism or related profile.

The group meets every month to discuss a specific book (fiction or nonfiction). Post-high school adults on the spectrum are welcome to attend the meetings, whether or not they have finished the book selected for the meeting. Books for the currently planned meetings are:

  • October 27: Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
  • November 24: TBD
  • December 22: TBD

WHEN: Tuesday, October 27, 2020

TIME: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM ET

WHERE: Online via Zoom

FACILITATORS:  Stephanie Birkdale and Katie Devine

COST: Free

REGISTRATION: Registration is required.  After you have registered, a confirmation email is sent with a link to attend the program. Registrants who do not receive the confirmation email should check their email spam folder. Registration closes 24 hours prior to the [event or first session]. Early registration is highly recommended as many programs fill quickly.

EVENT & GROUP INFORMATION: All programming has moved online for the foreseeable future. Meetings in physical locations have been suspended due to the current health crisis.

Groups and activities marked:

  • “Open” have new people joining from session to session. Closed” have the same members for a set number of sessions.
