Online LOCAL NY Metro LifeNet Info Session, 9/20/21, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM ET

September 20 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, Free

“Who can help my adult family member live more independently?”

DESCRIPTION: LifeNet, the Asperger/Autism Network’s private pay, independent living support program for adults on the spectrum, was created to address this fundamental question.

LifeNet began supporting adults in Massachusetts beginning in 2019, and our first group in Connecticut this year. LifeNet now supports nearly 60 adults, ages 21 through 88. We are now seeking applicants for our first LifeNet groups in the New York Metro Area, and planning for support to begin late 2021 or early 2022. (Initial service areas will be based on demand and may be limited in geographic scope.)

Meet the AANE LifeNet team members and learn how we support adults by providing clinical case management and direct care and assistance in many aspects of everyday life. We will also review the steps needed to build the first group of adults in this new LifeNet area. Prospective LifeNet adults, family members, and professional providers serving the autism community are welcome to attend.
