Online “Closed” Support Group for Parents of High School Girls, 10/5/20-12/21/20, 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM EDT

This group is designed for parents and other adult family members of high school girls who have been diagnosed with Aspergers/Autism or other similar profiles.
This small group setting limited to 15 participants allows parents to connect with each other and delivers a wealth of information.
If you are the parent of a student who is LGBTQIA+, gender non-binary, or exploring their gender, you are welcome to register for whichever of these Parent Support Groups you feel will best meet your needs.
This group will be run by Nancy Parker, MSW, LICSW. Nancy Parker, MSW, LICSW, Director of Child and Teen Services, first contacted AANE as a parent, when her daughter was first diagnosed in 2006. Nancy has 25 years of experience working in mental health. Prior to joining the AANE staff in 2017, she worked as a counselor in hospitals, colleges, and prisons, created mental health training programs for educators, and provided information, referrals, and support to parents of children with mental health issues.

Cost: $160 for the first family member and $40 for the second family member.
Financial assistance options are available for 25%, 50% or 75% off of the registration cost.
