Registration is now open for the AANE’s Online “Closed” Support Group for Parents of High School Boys. This group is designed for parents and other adult family members of high school boys who have been diagnosed with Aspergers/Autism or other similar profiles.
This small group setting limited to 15 participants allows parents to connect with each other and delivers a wealth of information.
If you are the parent of a student who is LGBTQIA+, gender non-binary, or exploring their gender, you are welcome to register for whichever of these Parent Support Groups you feel will best meet your needs.
This group will be run by Stephanie Loo. Stephanie Loo, M.Ed., Senior Family Support Specialist, has worked at AANE since 2001. She also draws upon her own experience to provide other parents and professionals with information, referral, and support by phone, and through Parent Coaching. She wrote grants and edited a former publication, the AANE Journal. She initiated the AANE/NESCA Transition Roundtable, which resulted in an expanded programming focused on transition planning and preparing our teens for college.
