*NEW TIME* Online Adult Monday Evening Support Group Series

This adult support group series is designed for adults who are on the autism spectrum. Through this support group series, adults can build an ongoing connection with a small community of other adults. AANE adult support group series also give adults an opportunity to voice their concerns and frustrations. It also lets them acknowledge hard-won and unexpected victories.
Moderator: The group will be moderated by Nisha Narvekar. Nisha Narvekar has been with AANE for over 9 years in various capacities. She was LifeMAP Assistant Director and a seasoned LifeMAP coach. From support groups for siblings and parents to information and referral for AANE’s Adult Services, Nisha enjoys a rich experience from working with a diverse set of clients. Nisha is currently pursuing her PhD. Nisha has a Master’s degree in Community Social Psychology from UMASS Lowell and in Applied Psychology from India. While in India, Nisha worked with underprivileged children at a high risk of HIV, using dance therapy for group counselling, creating HIV awareness.
A strong internet connection and a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone are required for this group.
All meetings will be held online. We will meet weekly for 8 meetings on Mondays from 4:30 o.m-6:00 p.m EDT.

Cost: Group members need to register in advance and membership is limited to 12 individuals. Members must be adults with Asperger’s or a related profile. The cost, which covers all 8 meetings in the support group series, is $80 per person. This payment covers all 8 meetings and you must register for the entire series.
