Online Adult (50+) Wednesday Evening Support Group Series

This adult support group series is designed for adults (50+) who are on the autism spectrum. Through this support group series, adults (50+) can build an ongoing connection with a small community of other adults. AANE adult support group series also give adults an opportunity to voice their concerns and frustrations. It also lets them acknowledge hard-won and unexpected victories.
Moderator: The group will be moderated by Allyson Linehan. Allyson Linehan, Consultation and Coaching Specialist, is part of AANE Adult Services Department, where she works with adults on the spectrum and their parents. .Allyson has worked over 30 years in the human service field and has a Masters in Pastoral Counseling from Boston University. She has been a LifeMAP Coach for 5 years and enjoys helping clients achieve their goals and dreams.
A strong internet connection and a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone are required for this group.
All meetings will be held online. We will meet weekly for 8 meetings on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m EST.

Cost: Group members need to register in advance and membership is limited to 12 individuals. Members must be adults with Asperger’s or a related profile. The cost, which covers all 8 meetings in the support group series, is $80 per person. This payment covers all 8 meetings and you must register for the entire series.
Financial Assistance: We do recognize that registration fees may be a hardship for some adults. If this is the case, contact (Stephanie.Birkdale@aane.org) for a fee discount or waiver. We want to make sure that you get the support you need.
