In-Person LOCAL Greater Boston & Southeastern, MA “Open” Outdoor Enthusiasts Club for Adults, 8/13/22, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM ET

August 13 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm, Free

DESCRIPTION: The AANE Outdoor Enthusiasts Club is a group, created to bring together adults in the Greater Boston and Southeastern, MA areas, who share a love of the outdoors. Facilitated by Katie McClean, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, the group will organize fun and interesting outdoor activities.

Join the Outdoor Enthusiasts Club if you are an adult on the autism spectrum looking for opportunities to socialize and participate in fun outdoor adventures. For more information, and to sign up, check out the Club on MeetUp

This meeting is an in-person* meeting. We’re heading to the river on SATURDAY, August 13th for a walk along the Cambridge side of the Charles River. We will be meeting at 10:30am at Magazine Beach parking lot (GPS: 668 Memorial Drive, Cambridge MA, 02139). We will start here and will be walking for approximately 5 miles (2.5 miles each way) to Harvard Stadium and back.

There is a parking lot next to the park, though the parking is limited. There is also a larger lot down the street where the Trader Joe’s and Micro Center shops are. However, we would strongly suggest utilizing public transportation, as our meeting location is a short walking distance from the Central Square stop on the Red Line and the BU West stop on the Green (B) Line.

RE: COVID, AANE requires its attendees to be fully vaccinated and masks will NOT be required throughout the event since we will be outside and have the ability to distance. However, you are welcome to wear a mask at any time.
