DESCRIPTION: The AANE Outdoor Enthusiasts Club is a group, created to bring together adults in the Greater Boston and Southeastern, MA areas, who share a love of the outdoors. Facilitated by Katie McClean, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, the group will organize fun and interesting outdoor activities.
Join the Outdoor Enthusiasts Club if you are an adult on the autism spectrum looking for opportunities to socialize and participate in fun outdoor adventures. For more information, and to sign up, check out the Club on MeetUp
This meeting is an in-person* meeting. We’re heading back to the beach on SATURDAY, July 16th! Instead of our usual hiking/walking agenda, we will be planning a morning of sunshine & relaxation at Nantasket Beach in Hull, MA.
The group will be setting up in the sand near the bathhouse located in the DCR Parking Lot (Wharf Ave. Hull, MA 02045). There is ample parking in these lots but please be prepared to pay for parking. The lots accept payment through the “YODEL” app, which you can easily download to your phone. Per the website, the fee is $15 for MA residents and $40 for non-MA residents.
RE: COVID, AANE requires its attendees to be fully vaccinated and masks will NOT be required throughout the event since we will be outside and have the ability to distance. However, you are welcome to wear a mask at any time.
