FILLED – Online “Closed” Support Group for Women (18-35), 2/10/21 – 5/19/21, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM ET

DESCRIPTION: This closed support group is designed for young women ages 18-35 who are on the autism spectrum. Through this support group series, young women can build an ongoing connection with a small community of other young women. AANE closed support groups also give adults an opportunity to voice their concerns and frustrations. It also lets them acknowledge hard-won and unexpected victories.
Common topics of discussion are:
- Sensory sensitivities and burnout
A strong internet connection and a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone are required for this group.
WHEN: 2/10, 2/24, 3/10, 3/24, 4/7, 4/21, 5/5, 5/19
TIME: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM ET
WHERE: Online via Zoom
FACILITATOR: This group will be facilitated by Becca Lory. BECCA LORY HECTOR was diagnosed on the autism spectrum as an adult and has since become a dynamic autism advocate, consultant, speaker, and author.
COST: Due to a generous grant from Felicity House, we are able to offer this closed support group at a very low cost. The cost, which covers all 8 meetings, is $10 per person.
CAPACITY: 12 participants
REGISTRATION: Advanced registration is required. After you have registered, a confirmation email is sent with a link to attend the program. Registrants who do not receive the confirmation email should check their email spam folder. Registration closes 24 hours prior to the event. Early registration is highly recommended as many programs fill quickly.
