Join us at the end of the conference for virtual discussion and networking groups!

All groups will be facilitated by an AANE conference staff. Facilitators will lead a guided discussion in each group. These groups will afford participants an opportunity to connect with other attendees and will not include a lecture or presentation.

Attendees must pre-register for these groups. Attendees will be asked on their ticket registration form to select which group they would like to attend. Attendees who do not want to join a virtual discussion or networking group can opt-out on their ticket registration form.

For attendees who do sign-up for one of our groups, you will receive via email one week prior to the date of the conference, a link to join the group you have selected as well guidelines for participation to ensure the experience is a positive one for all!

**There is limited space in each of these discussion and networking groups. Please be sure to register for the conference as early as possible to ensure your spot!**

AANE will be hosting the following virtual gatherings:

— Women on the Spectrum (Section 1)

This group is for adults on the spectrum (18+) who identify as female.

— Women on the Spectrum (Section 2)

This group is for adults on the spectrum (18+) who identify as female.

— Adults on the Spectrum (Section 1)

This group is for adults on the spectrum (18+).

— Adults on the Spectrum (Section 2)

This group is for adults on the spectrum (18+).

— Newly Diagnosed Adults

This group is for adults on the spectrum (18+) who are newly diagnosed on the autism spectrum.

— LGBTQIA+

This group is for adults on the spectrum who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

— Adults 50+

This group is for adults 50 years and older.

— Parents of Girls on the Spectrum

— Parents of Transition Age Young Adults

This group is for parents of post-high school transition-age youth on the spectrum (18-22 years old).

— Building Meaningful Connections

This group is for parents of children, teens, and young adults on the spectrum (22 years old and under) interested in connecting with others about how to support their children in building meaningful connections.

— Managing Behavioral Challenges

This group is for parents of children, teens, and young adults on the spectrum (22 years old and under) interested in connecting with other parents who may be negotiating behavioral challenges at home.

— Parents of Adults

This group is for parents of adults on the spectrum (23+ years old).

— Autistic Masking

This group is for individuals who are interested in discussing with other attendees the topic of autistic masking.

— Neurotypical Partners in Neurodiverse Relationships

— Professionals

This group is for professionals, such as social workers, mental health counselors, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and educators.

*The program schedule is subject to change. Attendees will be notified of any changes to the program or schedule.

REGISTRATION: is required to receive the meeting link in a confirmation email. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check your spam folder. Registration closes 24 hours prior to the meeting date. Early registration is highly recommended due to limited capacity.

CODES OF CONDUCT: Participants at AANE events are expected to act respectfully toward other participants and group facilitators. AANE reserves the right to deny admission to and/or ask individual participants to leave an event. For more information see FAQS.
