AANE Webinar: Healthy Dating Relationships on the Autism Spectrum: Finding Joy and Staying Safe, 4/26/21, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET
April 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm, $25
DESCRIPTION: All people need education about what makes a dating relationship healthy, unhealthy or abusive—and for some people on the spectrum, it can be even more challenging to figure out how to meet people, get to know them, set and respect boundaries, and recognize the signs if it is time for the relationship to end. In this one hour webinar, co-facilitators of the AANE Healthy Relationships on the Autism Spectrum (HEARTS) workshop will offer tips and advice. Join this conversation with Dr. Emily Rothman, an expert in healthy relationships promotion with over 20 years of research and practice experience, and Ms. Brandy Haberer, an adult on the autism spectrum married to an autistic person, social media and community manager of an autistic relationships app or dating app, and host of the popular Chronic Couple podcast. Together they will offer insights and suggestions based on research, teaching, and lived experience.
