To her evaluations, Dr. Currie brings a wealth of experience in individual and group therapy, particularly for anxiety-based disorders, and she founded NESCA’s CBT services. This experience allows her to write more detailed and individualized therapeutic recommendations that take both the learning and emotional profiles into consideration. She also has extensive experience in parent and school consultation and training, and works to take a whole system into consideration when conceptualizing a child’s needs and writing recommendations. She frequently observes children at school and participates at IEP meetings.
