Development and Pilot Study of a sensory diet ios application for occupational therapists and caregivers of children with Autism

Research Study

Hello,

My name is Jane Min and I am an occupational therapy doctorate student at the USAHS. I was hoping to reach out to see if I would be able to use your platform in search of caregivers/parents of children with ASD and occupational therapists who may be interested in testing my newly created app. Currently, I am working towards beta testing my new iOS application and improving it from user participation. This app was made for caregivers/parents of children with ASD in hopes to act as a new tool/resource. I wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with more information and am certainly open to any questions that you may have! Following is more information regarding the study:

As a part of my OTD curriculum, I am completing a research study to test my newly created iOS application. I am inviting you to participate in this research study to test the usability of this new iOS application and to see how it may help other caregivers like you before being placed on the Apple marketplace. Participation in this research study involves using this application across 9 weeks, as well as, completing 3 surveys, with 1 survey at the beginning of the study and 2 surveys at the conclusion of the study. Weekly one-on-one, open discussion meetings ranging from 30 – 60 minutes will also take place for you to voice any concerns and/or challenges you are facing in terms of using the app.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at (818) 658-0913 or simply email me at j.min@usa.edu.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration and I look forward to hearing from you!
