Culturally Relevant and Family Centered Care: Latino Caregivers

Research Study

This research study is exploring the Hispanic/Latino/Latina caregivers’ perceptions about their young child's (between the age of 3 months and 36 months old) speech and language service program. We are seeking participants from the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Wisconsin. Eligible participants will be Hispanic/Latino/Latina, 18 years old or older, currently living within Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Wisconsin, a legal guardian of a child between the ages of 3 months and 36 months old that is currently receiving speech and language services. The participant does not need to speak Spanish or be bilingual. The participants will complete online surveys, an online interview, and an online treatment observation (with the child and their speech language pathologist). After all activities of the research study have been completed the participant will receive a $25 gift card.
