Autistic Adults’ Perspectives on Education and Intervention Services

Research Study

My research team (which consists of a group of both autistic and neurotypical graduate students) is looking for autistic adults to participate in a survey study regarding their perspectives on education/intervention. Here are some details:

Oftentimes, intervention and education for autistic children is designed and implemented without any feedback from autistic individuals themselves. This is why researchers in the Department of Education at UC Santa Barbara are recruiting autistic adults to participate in a study in which they will be asked about their opinions of and experiences with the education system and/or autism intervention. The study consists of an online survey that will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. Potential participants must be autistic (formally- or self-diagnosed) and be at least 18 years old.
