Autism and Parenting

Research Study

My name is Marie Carmaudely L. Galliotte, I am a doctoral student at William James College, (WJC) formerly Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (MSPP). I am conducting a study as part of WJC’s doctoral project requirement toward completion of the Clinical Psychology program. I am looking to recruit parents of children with a diagnosis of autism that are between the ages of 4-11 years old, to participate in my study. I hope that you will consider participating in my research. The research will aim to understand how parents of children with autism spectrum disorders cope with the day to day challenges of the impact of the diagnosis. Although there are no compensation for your participation, you may however choose to enter in a raffle for the chance of winning one of 2 Amazon or iTunes gift cards. Additional information about the study is delineated in the informed consent form attached to the survey link. Should you have any specific questions regarding my research, you may contact me at or my DP Chair, Timothy Soto, Ph.D. at

Thank you in advance for your consideration!

Professionally Yours,

Marie Carmaudely L. Galliotte, M.A., M.A, BCBA, LABA
