Assessing the Impact of Textural Selectivity and Tactile Sensitivity on children with and without autism

Research Study

Hi there!
My name is Amy Andes, I am a PhD student at Ohio State studying food science, but specifically I study food texture aversions in children with autism.

I have an opportunity for children with autism to be in my paid research study. It is for children aged 10-15 with a diagnosis of autism. One requirement is that they are able to talk through some questions and a survey.

The study is a 1.5 hour Zoom call with questions about what foods they like and dislike, an IQ test, and a short survey about food texture that I help guide them through.

I appreciate any and all help! It has been extremely difficult to recruit during these times.
