There is little research about which menstrual products are most preferred by autistic menstruators and how product features impact their independence or comfort. This study will provide young autistic menstruators with popular menstrual products and helpful informational materials. After trying some (or all) of the products, the youth will take a survey and choose which one they most preferred. Caregivers will also share their most and least important features when choosing a menstrual product for their youth. The study intends to make periods less anxiety-provoking and provide helpful information to menstrual product companies to improve their products for all menstruators.
