Dawn Stahlberg, M. ED, AANE AsperCoach and new AAPCA Honorary Member, comes to the Asperger/Autism Professional Coaching Association with 30 years of experience in Special Education. She has been providing services to individuals and families in a range of capacities.
Dawn focuses on direct services to teens and adults and support to their families. She also provides consultation and training to agencies and schools. She has worked with a multi-disciplinary team at Easter Seals in Arkansas, where she provided professional development and consultation throughout the state. Additionally, she led a parent support group for 10 years. Dawn also designed and directed a 3-week summer social skills camp that ran for 7 years. The camp focused on social skills, self-awareness and advocacy, and sensory processing challenges.
Dawn has worked as an AsperCoach for LifeMAP for several years. We are proud to have her serve on our new AAPCA team.

LifeMAP AsperCoach Jan Starr Campito, M.S., M.Phil., is also being welcomed to the AAPCA as a new Honorary Member. Jan has years of experience working with individuals on the spectrum. She has recently authored a chapter in the book A Spectrum of Solutions for Clients with Autism, Treatment for Adolescents and Adults.
Jan’s chapter, “Countdowns, Mis-launches, and Birds in Flight,” gives a fascinating and thought provoking perspective on autism. The book is a comprehensive guide to working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
As Jan states, “The perspectives shared in the book itself demonstrate quite vividly how an interdisciplinary approach can be beneficial for addressing our clients various needs. Autistic voices are well represented.”
Jan brings a wealth of hands-on experience and education to the Asperger Autism Professional Coaching Association. She is also the author of other books, such as Supportive Parenting.
