As AANE launches the new Asperger/Autism Professional Coaching Association (AAPCA), we would like to welcome our two new honorary members. Both Dawn Stahlberg, M.Ed, Autism Specialist of Full Spectrum Solutions and Jan Campito, whose work was recently included in A Spectrum of Solutions for Clients with Autism, come to AAPCA with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
In addition, over 60 LifeMAP coaches, dozens of AsperCoaches, along with several independent autism coaches recently joined our growing AAPCA community! Collectively, the AAPCA members offer autism expertise and professional environment where each is enriched and supported. For example, LifeMAP coaches hold backgrounds in psychology, social work, education, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology and similar related fields. LifeMAP clinicians offer years of direct experience coaching clients and supervising coaches. AAPCA offers its members ongoing monthly virtual Clinical Hour meetings where our coaches participate in a lively forum to discuss resources, strategies, and ideas. Designed to meet the needs of its members, AAPCA provides coaches with continuing education and consultations, workshops and clinical peer supervision to ensure superior support to the autism community.
