Temporal Integration

We will use time compressed speech to examine temporal integration in ASD subjects. Subjects will be presented a series of auditory stimuli that are systematically transformed. We will also run a complementary experiment which will test whether participants perceive two different sounds at the same time, altering the silence between them.

Participants have to recognize and name the word heard or if the two sounds occur simultaneously.
