Siblings with Special Needs Relationship Study

Last year, students at the Yorktown High School Science Research Program distributed (what became) a worldwide survey to gain insight into the most common factors between those adults that had a caring, loving, strong relationship with their sibling with special needs. They had over 500 people respond from 40 states and 17 countries and were recognized at the International Sibling Conference.

Now they would like to invite those that have a child with special needs as well as a non disabled child to be involved in their new study. Families that participate would do the following:

Fill out an online (short) survey based on background information
Select 1-2 “strategies” from the list of the “best strategies” for parents of …..
Use that strategy for one month filling out a very short online survey at the end of each of 4 weeks so that they can track progress
