College Students with Asperger's Syndrome: Perspectives on the Transition to College

We are seeking respondents for an anonymous survey designed to provide insight into the perspectives of college students with AS on their experience with the transition from high school to college.  This study is being conducted in affiliation with the UMMS-Shriver Center LEND fellowship program. The survey results will complement a broad investigation on the topic including a literature review, individual and/or focus group interviews, key informant interviews, a review of current support programs and systems gaps. The results of this investigation will inform the design of a new model for supporting students with AS to make successful transitions to higher education (i.e., college).

The target population is college students (ages 18-23) with AS that are currently enrolled (or were) for the Winter/Spring 2009 semester in at least one college course. This is an anonymous survey and no individual respondents will be identified. Interested respondents can access the survey at:
