Neuropsychologist

A component of the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Services located at Sancta Maria Nursing Facility in Cambridge, the Child and Adolescent Testing Service (CATS) provides evaluations for children and adolescents who have neuropsychological and/or psychological difficulties that are interfering with their ability to manage demands at home, at school, and/or with their peer group.

The goal of the two day evaluation, which encompasses neuropsychological, psychological, and academic testing, is to provide recommendations to be used by parents, the child’s school, and other professionals to better understand why their child is struggling and how to be helpful.

CDN prides itself on providing comprehensive, integrated services. We not only treat the “whole child” but also carefully consider how the child’s environment (i.e., home, school, etc.) impact his or her functioning. This allows us to provide appropriate resources and to support parents, teachers, and other important people in the child’s life.
