I am California Dreaming
As I reach out for Good Vibrations
And With a Little Help from my Friends
I will gleefully Sit on the Dock of a Bay
And my mission—should I choose to accept it—
Will be to Never Give up, Never Surrender!
I do not look for trouble
But trouble always seems to find me;
When I am Lost in Translation
I Phone Home so I can Be Good;
And my mission—should I choose to accept it—
Is to Boldly Go where No One has gone Before!
Being a Stranger in a Strange Land
Allows me to Quantum Leap through time
Although I do not know
What Not to Wear, and
Apparently what not to say,
My mission—should I choose to accept it—
Is to Reach Out, Reach Out and Touch Someone.
If life is just a bowl of cherries
Then are we not all Fruit Loops?
And if Time can put in a Bottle,
Then what is the next thing that I should do?
My mission—should I choose to accept it—
Is to be a Myth Buster!
Can I Sing Clearly now?
While Walking on Sunshine,
Putting a Little Love in My Heart,
I will Never Walk Alone.
My mission—should I choose to accept it—
Is, If Music be the Food of Love, I will play on.
I just do not want to be an Oscar Mayer Wiener.
