Support and Social Groups for Grandparents

You are invited to participate in a group especially for grandparents of children with Asperger profiles. Having a grandchild on the autism spectrum brings unique joys, challenges, and concerns. You probably have many questions about how to support your grandchild’s parents, how to establish a relationship with your grandchild, how to tell friends and family about the diagnosis, and how to enjoy family holidays and get-togethers. Whether your grandchild is 3 or 30, we welcome you to connect and learn together with other grandparents. Other adult relatives are also welcome. Depending upon where you live, you are welcome to join either the face to face group, the online group, or both.

Face-to-Face Support Groups

The group meets bi-weekly on Tuesday mornings from 10:00-11:30 at the AANE office in Watertown, Massachusetts. Please call Marcia Robinson at 617-393-3824 x29 for more information, for directions to the office, and to register for the group.
